Beyond Gravity has over 30 years heritage in spacecraft power electronics. Huld was selected as partner to develop a new type of mission critical flight software for Beyond Gravity’s New Space Constellation Power Distribution Unit (cPDU).
Huld carried out software development and validation responsibilities for cPDU software from the early project definition phase to full flight software delivery.
Huld also contributed to the development of the test system for the application.
Due to New Space approach driven lean project set-up and aggressive schedule, the work required collaboration in extremely proactive and flexible fashion. Strong design heritage, capability to innovate and implement, as well as deep insights in space projects related quality assurance, were the key success factors for the work.
The experience of Huld shortened the time to implement the project, while ensuring the quality of the end-result.
