Huld implemented the software of the smart thermostat
The “intelligence” of the smart thermostat was implemented by Huld on a Bluetooth circuit that the user controls through a mobile application. Ensto searched for an experienced partner with expertise in embedded systems and knowledge of short-range radio technology – especially Bluetooth.
Embedded systems are a central part of Huld’s software expertise, which served as a natural basis for the cooperation. Adept technical solutions were found for the challenging implementation requirements specified in the project, and continuous integration and testing enabled achieving a high-quality software.
Project Manager Jukka Levänen from Ensto, who was responsible for the project, says that Huld became a fixed part of Ensto’s project and cooperation was efficient.
In particular, I value good communication and openness of cooperation – difficult matters were not avoided, but were actively brought up in discussions and worked on together in order to find solutions for them, says Levänen.
