VAMP: Vamp 321 – arc control unit
Huld has provided support for VAMP Oy’s product development and has, among other things, been involved in the general and mechanical design of the VAMP 321.
The new modular structure of the VAMP 321 arc control unit allows insertion of new modules to improve the performance and functionality of the device as necessary. The base unit has two separate arc sensor inputs, and it can be expanded from basic to more demanding arc protection systems.
Vamp is the first manufacturer on the market who has added an event and interference recorder to its arc protection systems to enhance the prediction and analysis of an arc event. The VAMP 321 uses the same VAM hubs, cabling, and sensors that were used in VAMP’s previous reliable arc protection systems.
The device has a new durable structure with a cast aluminum casing and an IP54 protected control panel. The adjustable attachment system enables flexible assembly to all environments.
Vamp 321 has been developed in close co-operation with the customers of VAMP Oy and utilizes the proven technology used in the VAMP 50- and Vamp 200 protection relays and VAMP 221 arc protection system.
