The amount and efficient use of resources are always important factors in projects. At Huld, project managers lead the designers and help them to succeed in the project, by making sure they have all the support needed.
Customer service and communication
A clear indication of the level of project management is the level of reporting received by you as the customer. Project managers at Huld will report at least every week the situation of the project, so you will know almost real time how the project plan is being implemented. This reduces the need of your energy needed to follow the project.
Requirement management
Understanding customer and legislation requirement is important part of the successful project. It is common that these requirements are changed during the project. Our experienced project managers can handle the Change management, so that the schedule and cost impacts as well as the impact to product features are known before any changes are decided to be included in the project. This way, there are less surprises in the project. Simultaneously, it improves the quality of the project outputs.
Continuous planning and monitoring
Project will be planned before it can be offered, and the plan will be implemented after the order. Rarely, world stays unchanged during the whole project and the plan could be finalized without any needs for changes. At Huld, project managers monitor the execution of the project. When the information gathered through monitoring, Change Management, and Risk Management are combined, they form a good base for Continuous Planning. This means that there is only minimum amount of surprises in the projects.

One goal for our project management is to reduce the numbers of surprises a project will encounter and then deal with the rest.
Our project management is not done by a single person, but small team including the project manager and other key persons, or project steering groups based on the needs of the project. Choosing suitable method to execute the project is one of the important decisions done in early parts of the project. Some project should be done with waterfall methods, some can only be handled with agile methods, but significant part of the large projects is today managed as hybrid model.
