Huld to Join Europe’s Largest Space Technology Event in Bremen

Huld participates in the Space Tech Expo Europe, the largest B2B space industry event in Europe, held in Bremen from 18–20 November 2025. Huld will take part in the Finnish joint presence and will be honoured with the ESA Excellence Award.

Space Tech Expo Europe brings together leading companies, institutions, innovators, and experts from across the space sector.

The event offers a comprehensive overview of the latest solutions in satellite technology, software development, and ground systems. This year’s topics include artificial intelligence, space-based solar power, quantum technology, and cybersecurity.

Strengthening Finnish Space Excellence

Huld will also take part in the Finnish joint event on Tuesday, 19 November, aimed at providing Finnish space companies with a strong, unified platform on the international stage.

The program includes a workshop and panel discussion under the theme “Finland’s Role in Space & Defense: Innovation from a New NATO Member.” In addition, there will be company showcases, B2B meetings, and networking opportunities.

ESA Excellence Award – Recognition of Outstanding Expertise

During Space Tech Expo Europe, Huld will receive the ESA Excellence Award, part of the European Space Agency’s Supplier Performance Awards program. The award recognizes Huld’s contributions to ESA’s Sentinel-4 and Sentinel-5 missions.

“This award highlights the excellent work our teams have accomplished over the past 12 years, covering both flight and ground software for Sentinel-4. As a result, we can ensure safe and robust instrument control followed by the production of high-quality Level–1 data”, states Project Manager Juho Miettunen from Huld.

“We greatly appreciate ESA’s recognition, and our collaboration has always been seamless. Together with the encouraging results from mission commissioning, this is something we can all be truly proud of”, Miettunen continues.
